Midge’s Ice Cream

just opened for the season!
This cute little place is right down the street from our house in Limington. Perfect for biking over there on a warm summer evening. We’ve driven past it a few times and I always think “I can’t wait til they open!” So as soon as we saw the lights on, we stopped in for a taste. I had a “moose on sugar,” that is, Moose Tracks ice cream on a sugar cone. I believe Midge herself took my order.
Midge’s is one of my favorite places, too! I’m living in Limerick and have wondered if Midge has opened her doors for the season. I just googled “Midge’s Ice Cream” and found your blog, only to discover she’s been open for a couple of weeks! And based on your description of what you ordered “moose on sugar”, I’m quite certain she took your order. That place is a hoot. I’m a particular fan of the sign by the window that reads something like “no checks, no debit, no dip cones” because clearly those are all related!
Also, I’m enjoying reading about the farmhouse. Looks like a lot of fun!
